CloakBrowser
Developers credit CloakBrowser's patched Chromium engine with getting past Cloudflare and reCAPTCHA in automation; the Manager puts a desktop profile manager on top of it, but it is an early alpha and little feedback is about the Manager itself. GitHub reports through 2026 describe blocks by DataDome, Akamai and Google, Manager freezes and clipboard bugs (mostly in the older Docker/VNC version), and frustration that the latest engine became paid in June 2026.

Solo costs $29/month (offered at $19 during a promotion when we checked) for five profiles running at once; higher plans only raise the number of concurrent sessions, and one key covers both the Manager and the developer library. A free GitHub-sign-in key runs one profile at a time. The Manager and the Playwright drop-in wrapper are MIT open source, but the patched Chromium binary is closed and licensed separately.
Review scores
Trustpilot rests on just two short five-star reviews, both about the developer library rather than the Manager.

Plans & pricing
In June 2026 new engine builds moved to a paid Pro license. The keyless free binary stayed on Chromium 146, and a free GitHub-sign-in key now runs one session at a time on the latest build.

Antidetect browsers are used to run several accounts side by side, for ad verification and for privacy. Using them to break a platform’s rules can still get accounts banned.
