Clearcote Browser
Clearcote is a young open-core Chromium build for Playwright and Puppeteer automation, and its maintainer replies to GitHub reports at length. Users have reported page crashes, much slower rendering than ungoogled-chromium, canvas noise that made the build detectable and Windows blocking the unsigned open build; the maintainer traced the crashes and slow rendering to build mistakes and says the October 2026 open build fixes them, while the Windows signing issue is still open. The free open build trails the licensed one by about two months, and macOS on Apple silicon is a preview.

Antidetect browsers are used to run several accounts side by side, for ad verification and for privacy. Using them to break a platform’s rules can still get accounts banned.
