ShardBrowser

Few independent reviews exist yet; GitHub issues are the main source, and there users welcome a free launcher with engine-level spoofing, Android profiles and a local API. Reports since mid-2026 cover launch failures, overlays that lock profiles, proxy-credential bugs and fingerprint values that repeat across profiles, and since mid-September 2026 new issues have gone unanswered while the engine stays on Chromium 152. ShardBrowser, also called ShardX Launcher, is made by the proxy vendor ProxyShard, and its Chromium engine is a closed-source binary.

ShardX Launcher is free with no paid tier or profile limit. The launcher is MIT open source, but the patched Chromium engine it downloads on first run is a closed-source binary whose license bars use in commercial antidetect products; full QUIC and WebRTC over a proxy need SOCKS5 UDP relay, which ProxyShard's own proxies offer.

Other antidetect browsers

Antidetect browsers are used to run several accounts side by side, for ad verification and for privacy. Using them to break a platform’s rules can still get accounts banned.
