These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the website fingerbrowser.com and the free tools on it (together, the “Service”), provided by Yuncedria Technologies Inc., a company based in British Columbia, Canada (“FingerBrowser”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

FingerBrowser offers free tools that show what a website can learn about your browser — such as the browser personality test and the fingerprint and IP check — along with articles and statistics about browser fingerprinting. The tools are provided for information and entertainment. Results are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

2. Acceptable use

You may not:

• interfere with or overload the Service, or circumvent its rate limits;
• scrape the Service or call its API from other websites or applications without our permission;
• submit false data to distort the anonymous statistics;
• use the Service in violation of any law.

3. Third-party links and affiliate relationships

Some pages link to products and services offered by third parties. Some of these links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase. See our Affiliate Disclosure. We are not responsible for third-party products, websites or terms.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its text, design, graphics and code, belongs to FingerBrowser or its licensors. You may share links and the result cards generated for you; other reuse requires our permission. Published census statistics may be quoted with attribution to FingerBrowser and a link to the source page.

To the extent permitted by law, FingerBrowser is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to CAD $100.

We may update the Service and these Terms at any time. The date above shows when these Terms last changed. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, except where consumer protection law where you live gives you other rights.
